Pickleball

This racket sport has been played in New Zealand for eight years. It's played with a hard paddle and a plastic ball with holes in – a whiffle ball – that doesn't bounce as much as a tennis ball.

Pickleball for adults is played at Parua Bay Community Centre on 3 days a week. There are currently 4 groups that meet at separate sessions. Visitors and new players are welcome but due to numbers please contact as per below before coming to play to make sure there is room for an extra player.  Experienced Players wishing to have a casual game are also welcome but again please contact as per below before coming as we only have 2 courts.
We only play doubles and the cost varies between $5 -$7.00 per session.

Sessions:
Wednesday (experienced): Start 1 or 2-pm to 3pm

Wednesday afternoons (New) Start 3pm to 4.30pm-5pm
Friday: Group 1: Start 10.15 am til 12.15pm
